Bappi Lahiri, 69, dies in Mumbai: His last rites will be performed at Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu, according to his son-in-law, Govind Bansal.

As a tribute to the late singer-composer Bappi Lahiri, Amul India created artwork with two images of Bappi, one singing and the other composing. A few disco balls were also included in the artwork as a nod to his musical life.

The artwork also featured some disco balls, a nod to his disco-themed songs and was captioned, “Tribute to the legendary Indian singer and composer, “Disco King”.

Late legendary music composer-singer Bappi Lahiri‘s son-in-law Gobind Bansal shared, “He had been admitted in the hospital for three weeks but was discharged and was back home. He also had his dinner last night at around 8:30-9 pm. But within half an hour of having his dinner, A heart attack had struck him. His pulse rate dropped. He was taken to the hospital and the doctors pronounced him dead at 11:44.”
