– Pokhara

Undoubtedly, Pokhara is one of best place to visit in Nepal. There are many places like Seti river and many more interesting things. So that’s why it’s important for you if you are planning to visit Nepal. The best time to visit Pokhara is October to March. During these season people can enjoy a lot because weather here is great and clear with awesome view of Himalayan Mountain Ranges including Langtang Lirung (7227m), Ganesh Himal (7025m), Manaslu (8156m), Annapurna II (8091m) , Annapurna I (8091m) etc. It has unique culture which combines Tibetan Buddhist religion and Hindu religion. The best attraction of Pokhara is Chitwan National Park where you can find different animals such as Tiger, Elephant, Rhinoceros, And Gharial Crocodile just in walking distance from tourist area. It will take only 1 hour from Kathmandu valley to reach there by road. In addition to that there are different caves and springs in Rajbiraj town which provides mind refreshment when used together with colorful flowers surrounding on them.

 

– Chitwan National Park

– Lumbini (the birthplace of lord Buddha)

It is located on a plain at the foothills of Churia range of hills, 5 kilometers east of Tulsipur town and approximately 500 km south-east from Kathmandu. It was here that Lord Buddha Sakyamuni was born. At Maya Devi Temple an image of Queen Maya Devi is enshrined.

The Mayadevi Temple dates back to 3rd century B.C., but it has been destroyed several times by fire. There are two large stupas known as Kushana & Gupta period. These stupas were built over original relics found during excavations conducted by Archaeological Survey of India. There are also many other statues of Lord Buddha & his disciples like Shariputra, Maudgalyayana etc.,

Also there are some small shrines present which also have importance in Buddhism. It is estimated that around 100m west of Stupids and 200m north west excavation work going on which may be remains of Ashoka’s visit to Lumbini after he converted into Buddhism.

– Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU

– Bhaktapur

An important industrial and trading centre, Bhaktapur is home to ancient temples and buildings which showcase Nepalese crafts and culture. The heart of old Bhaktapur lies around Durbar Square, home to historic Rajbhandari ruins and fine examples of traditional Newari architecture. Festivals held here during Chaitra (March-April) and Dashain (September-October) are an important draw for tourists. This town has now become more modern as it is now considered as part of metropolitan Kathmandu.

– Mustang
